한국 여권상 이름의 표기법은 전부 대문자로 표기합니다. 이는 혼동을 피하기 위함입니다. 한국이름은 영문 이름과 달리 성(prenom)을 먼저 표기한 후 이름(nom)을 표기합니다. 예를 들어 손흥민 선수의 경우 손흥민으로 표기하거나 또는 하이픈을 빼고 손흥민으로 표기합니다.

 

*'흥민'이 이름으로서 그 자체로 한 단어처럼 취급되며 '흥'과 '민'을 따로 분리하지 아니합니다. '흥'은 미들네임이 아닙니다. 따라서, 하이픈을 사용함은 지양하도록 합니다. 성과 이름만 분리함으로 족합니다.
